Zamba
The quintet formed by the Front trio, composed of Rodrigo Santos, Nani Dias and Ricardo Palmeira, together with musicians Ricardo Bacelar and Christiaan Oyens, presents Zamba, an album recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studio in London. Bringing together artists who helped shape generations of Brazilian pop and rock, with backgrounds in bands such as Barão Vermelho and Hanoi Hanoi, the project features mostly unreleased songs and a sound that blends rock, pop and Brazilian influences, born from a creative reunion among longtime friends.
The historic atmosphere of Abbey Road, combined with the musicians’ experience, gave the album a vibrant and contemporary personality. During their time in the United Kingdom, the quintet also performed in London and Liverpool, including a show at the iconic Cavern Club. Zamba reflects the group’s collaborative spirit and celebrates the union of musical journeys that have left a lasting mark on Brazilian music.
