The choice of "Semente da Maré" reflects Leila Pinheiro's desire to bring visibility to the reality of refugees, especially in times of intense global conflicts, such as the current one between Israel and Palestine. “It is our cry of solidarity and compassion for these suffering peoples. We are all migrants!” comments the artist, who has been interpreting Arantes' compositions for decades.

The creative partnership between Leila and Ricardo Bacelar is a natural result of a musical friendship that began two years ago when Leila collaborated with Bacelar and Roberto Menescal on the album "Nós e o Mar," a hit on jazz radio stations in the United States. In "Semente da Maré," the two musicians infuse their sensitivity into the arrangement, with Leila on piano and Ricardo adding various instruments, creating a deep and engaging atmosphere that highlights the lyrical and melodic strength of the song.

The single was recorded at Jasmin Studio in Fortaleza, where Leila and Bacelar worked together on the production and arrangements.
