Mestre novo da Guiné

Ricardo Bacelar and Airto Moreira present the single “Mestre Novo da Guiné,” a new track featured on the original album Maracanós, a global release in Brazil, the United States, Japan, Portugal, France, Germany and China through Jasmin Music.

The only song on the album with lyrics, written by Luiz Lima Verde, “Mestre Novo da Guiné” features vocals by Ricardo Bacelar and tells the story of a leader connected to Afro-Brazilian culture.

The track combines Airto’s distinctive percussion and Bacelar’s piano in a sound that brings together Brazilian rhythmic traditions, contemporary jazz and strong emotional depth. More than a single, “Mestre Novo da Guiné” introduces the creative universe of “Maracanós,” bringing together music, memory and cultural identity.

The project also includes a music video inspired by Afro-Brazilian culture, along with a visual identity that blends Brazilian and African elements.
