Telepatia
The single “TELEPATIA” marks the debut collaboration between singer-songwriter Flávio Venturini and multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer Ricardo Bacelar. Recorded at Jasmin Studio in Fortaleza, the work features three songs of varied rhythms, including the unreleased “Samba Saudade,” a collaboration between Venturini, Bacelar, and lyricist Murilo Antunes.
During the creation of the single, Bacelar hosted Venturini for an immersion in Fortaleza, where they shared an “artistic residency.” “I’ve always admired Flávio, from his time with 14 Bis to his solo career, with that melodic richness of Minas music influenced by Clube da Esquina. Working alongside him was a very rich and relaxed experience,” reflects Bacelar.
Venturini emphasizes their synergy: “It was great to do this project with Ricardo. His studio is spectacular, and the environment facilitated our creativity. We planned to record one song and ended up making three! Ricardo is a careful and detail-oriented musician.” The production also features guitarist Torcuato Mariano, invited by Venturini.
In addition to “Samba Saudade,” the single includes the title track “Telepatia,” a composition by Venturini and Jorge Vercillo, and “Lareira,” a solo creation by Venturini that revisits this special song he wrote at the beginning of his musical journey. The recording of “Lareira” features the vocals of Maria and Sara Bacelar, adding a unique touch to the production.
In “TELEPATIA,” Venturini and Bacelar explore sounds and melodies that reflect their musical affinity, resulting in a work that celebrates the union of their talents.
