Ricardo Bacelar – Live in Rio

This fourth solo album captures the jazz club sound ambience and the improvisational performance energy, enhancing the signs of Brazilian music with a jazz accent, recorded live in May 2018 at Blue Note Rio.

In this concert, Ricardo Bacelar plays the piano and keyboards, sings and is accompanied by guitarist João Castilho, saxophonist and flutist Danilo Sinna, drummer Renato Endrigo, bassist Alexandre Katatau and percussionist André Siqueira. The album's production also has Bacelar's signature.

The album's repertoire includes a composition by Ricardo Bacelar and César Lemos, "Sernambetiba 1992", as well as songs by great authors such as Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Horace Silver, Gilberto Gil, Moacir Santos, Flora Purim, Benny Golson, and others.
