Vício Elegante

This single has the story of a friendship. The year is 1996. The composer and singer Belchior entered the studio to record the next-to-last album of his career. For the musical direction and arrangements, the GPA record label invited the pianist and composer Ricardo Bacelar, under the production of Guti Carvalho.

Belchior proposed to Ricardo Bacelar, a partnership in the song "Vício Elegante"(”Elegant Addiction”). This is the last unpublished lyric recorded by Belchior.

Twenty-two years after that recording, and a year after Belchior's death in 2017, Ricardo Bacelar pays tribute to his partner and friend by re-recording this song that reunites many of Belchior's lyrics, his refined lyricism, attuned to the 1990s.
